Create and Delete a temporary record for a Non-RSA Interlibrary Loan Item
When interlibrary loan items are received from non-RSA libraries, temporary records must be created to allow the items to be checked out to the patron that requested the item. ILLINET Interlibrary Loan Code
In 2014, the ILLINET ILL Revision Committee revised the ILL Code to reflect current practices and to include current technology. The revised ILLINET ILL Code became effective April 1, 2015. In addition to their work on the ILL Code itself, the committee produced an ILL Code Checklist and a list of ILL Best Practices to assist librarians in the field. Illinois libraries are also required by administrative rule to comply with the ILLINET ILL Code as a condition of library system membership.
